Diddy Kong Racing Pt3

It was early in the morning. The sun hadn't even risen. Diddy just woke up. He looked around and thought he was the only one up, until he saw Timber, sitting alone by the beach. He went to Timber. "What's up?", Diddy asked. "Huh? Oh, it's just you...", Timber said. "Yeah, who did you think it was?", Diddy asked sarcasticly. "...Pipsy...", Timber replied quietly. "Oh I get it...", Diddy said. "Your STILL thinking of a way to get to Pipsy.". Timber nodded. "I...I just don't know what im supposed to say to her.", Timber said. Everyone else started to get up slowly. Everyone saw Diddy and Timber talking at the beach. "Y'know, ever since we started this, they've been talking to each other alot.", Dixie said. "Well, they haven' seen each other' n years.", Bumper said. Conker then opened his yapper. "Yeah! Yeah! And they still want to think of how to tell you they...", "Want to talk to each other alone!", Tiptup interrupted, smacking Conker on the head. Again, the girls looked confused.

When Timber and Diddy went back, they saw everyone was up. "Well...What's for breakfast?", Diddy asked. Everyone suddenly looked at Krunch and started to back away. "What?...Oh, just because I have sharp teath doesn't mean I eat meat 24/7!", Krunch said. "Well, what can we eat?", Pipsy asked. Just then Diddy dissapeared. Then it started raining fruit from a couple of trees. "Breakfast!", Diddy yelled from a tree, then fell out and landed on his face. "Holy oranges! Diddy are you alright?!", Dixie asked rushing to his side. Diddy slowly raised his head. "Uh...I think...So...", Diddy tried to speak. Dixie put his arm around her and raised him up. She then gave him a slice of watermelon. "I think I feel better, thanks.", Diddy said. "Don't mention it!", Dixie said, giving him a warm smile. Diddy had to look away to keep from blushing. "Diddy?", Dixie wondered. "I...Im fine.", Diddy said, still hiding his face. "Let's eat.".

Everyone was eating fruit that Diddy threw down. Diddy and Timber were eating really slowly because they kept talking away from the others. "They're talking again. (Sigh) I wonder what their always talking about.", Pipsy said. "Me too", Dixie said. "Jeez, I wish they would stop talking about the same subject every single time...", Krunch said quietly, but the others heard him. "You know what they're talking about?!", Dixie said. "Tell us!", "I can't.", Krunch said. "Why not?!", Pipsy asked. "Because I gave my word! We kremlings may be mean but we keep our word.", Krunch replied. "Your just gonna hafta get the truth outta them yourselves.", Krunch said. Dixie and Pipsy just looked at each other, thinking of a way to make them spill the beans. When they were done they headed to the planes and went to Snowflake Mountain.

It was the coldest place on the island, but you knew that already didn't you. They raced penguins on their stomachs on all kinds of tracks. Eventually, they got to the big guy, Bluey the Walrus. "Well done younguns. Now I challenge you to a race.", Bluey said. Being brainwashed, he took a headstart too. They started going down a tunnel, then a couple of hills. The finish line was on the horizon. Conker used a rocket on Bluey slowing him down, letting Krunch cross the finish line. "Oh yeah!", Krunch yelled. "Well done younguns. Here's a piece of the amulete.", Bluey said. Two pieces down, two to go.

It was sun set, and everyone was at the fire again. "Y'know, we haven't seen one sign of Drumstick yet. I wonder what happened to him.", T.T. said. "Im sure he's somewhere. Wizpig must've hidden him somewhere or brainwashed him.", Tiny said. "Probably...", Timber said. Timber and Diddy were hardly paying attention to what they said as their minds were on Dixie and Pipsy. Everyone thought they were acting strange. Pipsy and Dixie both went to Timber and Diddy. "Uh...Can you two please come over here?", they both asked. Timber and Diddy both looked at each other nervous and went with them.

The four went to the beach watching the sunset. "So...What are you boys always talking about?", Dixie asked. Timber and Diddy were both shocked. "Did Krunch tell you?!", Diddy asked. "No, he said he kept his word.", Pipsy said. Timber and Diddy bothed sighed of relief. "But we still want to know.", Pipsy said. "Especially if it's about us.", Dixie added. Timber and Diddy looked at each other. "Got any excuses for this one?", Timber asked him. "Im working on it!", Diddy replied. "We want to know. C'mon!", the girls said. Timber and Diddy were getting worried and started to sweat. "Uh...(gulp)...Well...Um...", the boys stammered. They just put their caps over their faces. The girls could tell this was something they did not want anyone to know. "This...Was something Timber and I...Held back for years...", Diddy tried to say. "Diddy, Timber...Please...", the girls practicly begged them. Diddy and Timber were as nervous as someone could be. Then Timber thought of something. "Diddy! Evasive meneuver: Tail Swing!", Timber said. Timber grabbed Diddy, swung him around and sent him flying. Then Diddy grabbed Timber by his tail with his tail so both of them were in the air. They landed right under the Wizpig Mountain. "(Sigh) We're gonna have to try something else.", Pipsy said. But it was too late for it. So everyone went to sleep.
